Cocoa Surprise

From the moment she was born, we knew Cocoa was a chocolate, and her white markings were also very obvious. Colours and pattern in Havanese sometimes take time to develop. You may not have noticed this in the photos, but we have been watching her colour develop over the past two weeks. As her coat grows, we can now see that Cocoa is a chocolate tricolour. Her dominant colour is chocolate, and her trim is white, but she also has a third colour. She has the typical Tri markings appearing in the way of soft pewter colour points on the eyebrows, inner ears, cheeks and muzzle as well as chest points and a bit of a cuff around the legs. Its hard to take a picture of it, here is the best we have been able to do. You should be able to see the three colours in this photo.
